Huedle is a small daily puzzle. This page explains the limited data it handles. There are no user accounts and we do not ask for your name, email, or any personal contact details.

Stored on your device

Your settings, your daily results, your streak, and a random anonymous identifier are stored in your browser's local storage. They stay on your device and are never used to identify you personally. Clearing your browser storage erases them.

The leaderboard

When you solve a puzzle, your browser may send the puzzle date, your move count, your time, your remaining lives, and a random anonymous identifier to our server so the result can be ranked. The leaderboard is anonymous — it shows only positions and scores (your rank, percentile and the entries around you), never names. We do not ask for a name, and we do not collect IP-based location or build advertising profiles from this data.

Ads

Ads appear only in the end-of-round screens — never on the menu or while you play. Until our ad-partner account is live, what you see is a non-tracking placeholder that loads nothing and sets no cookies. When real ads are switched on they are served by Google AdSense, and Google and its partners may use cookies and similar technologies to serve and measure them; see Google's ads policy for the data Google processes. Where the law requires a consent prompt before personalised ads (e.g. the EEA/UK), the operator must enable one before serving that traffic.

Your choices

This is a plain-language summary provided in good faith, not legal advice. If you operate this site, review it against your jurisdiction's requirements (e.g. GDPR/CCPA) and your ad provider's terms before launch.
